This beautiful verse describing Śrī Hanumān’s qualities also comes from the Śrīrāmarakṣāstotram, composed by the sage Budhakauśika that we encountered in the Rāmanavamī course.

It is verse nr. 33 of that hymn.  However it also appears in other compositions worshipping Śrī Hanumān such as the Śrīhanumānstavana.

This particular śloka is often used for japa when invoking Śrī Hanumān’s protection and traditionally recited 11, 21 or 108 times.

Let me find refuge at the feet of Śrī Rāma's messenger, who is quick as the mind and fast like the wind; he who has conquered the senses and is honored for his great intelligence; the son of the Wind and the leader of the inhabitants of the forest (Vānaras)!
